Recognize + Embrace + Integrate = Transcend

First we have to take in the incoming information from within our minds and bodies and the outside world  and process the information.  This is super important and calls for a bit of detail.

How we interpret what shows up and everything that springs from that is crucial for our understanding  of whether we react unconsciously or respond consciously. It's a human form of data entry and data processing. The result is how we live our lives and the effect it has on us.

It calls for developing the discipline to remain mindful, steadfast in our resolve to pay attention. Remain alert and attentive and attuned to the environment around us, much of which we radiate.

It calls for a Witnessing Presence that observes all and begins to inform us on a deeper, more clear, coherent and intuitive level  as to how to respond when necessary. We learn to internalize that presence as our own ability to see how we are currently living but from higher ground. It is the Beginning of Awakening, the most precious of all experiences, but the ground of our true Being all along.

If we mis-interpret the incoming aspects of the realm of the senses, and we usually do, we miss out on the reality of it right away. Due to  the core energetic influencers of karma, culture, nature and nurture,

(explored more fully in another section), we often view the input as frightening, threatening, condemning, worrisome, to be rejected, to be attacked -you get the picture. The results will not be good, to say the least. Choices and decisions based on glitches in our own computer lead to suffering, if not disasters.

The very good news is we are learning as a species, ways of transcending this lower consciousness prison and as we learn more and more about the way minds work and thoughts incessantly demand attention and trigger difficult emotions - no wonder people are exhausted much of the time.

Accepting, including, being open-minded and open-hearted, allowing information and experience to be allowed without outright rejection, narrowing of or restricting elements of reality. Acceptance   all factors of multiplicity and diversity. Let it all in and let it all be but  before we transcend it all, we have  to take it all in without conditioned reactivity.

Activating bodies of knowledge and utilizing them in the world of form such as intellectual, theoretical, metaphysical, spiritual etc. are called for at this next step. This promotes metabolizing and alchemizing experiences without identification or attachment.  As the eminent psychologist Carl Jung brilliantly acknowledges, in order to be whole, we have to allow everything that shows up in our consciousness to be accepted before we can transcend it.  This includes the Dark Night of the Soul and Shadow Work which brings unconscious suppressed material to the surface. It’s no picnic to access these elements. Most humans do everything they can to avoid this work because it is painful, and brings up shame and guilt from our past  but the rewards of traveling through these dark and heavy gauntlets offer amazing rewards as the spiritual light of our greater Being inevitably shines through, leading to our true Self.  These first three steps cannot be bi-passed or the conditions for Transcending  them cannot occur. 

The great discernment occurs here. Our higher, greater intelligence within must  recognize, embrace  and integrate all that shows up in the Realm of the senses, which I  refer to as the Existential/Personal Realm.  This final step in the formula creates the experience of seeing through our identification with the world of form and function, and elevating our consciousness to reduce the suffering that is the prevalent experience of most people’s lives on the planet. We see through the illusion that we are the body and mind rather then Awareness Itself, which is called by many names, such as God Consciousness, The Creative Intelligence of the Universe, the Source, and our Higher Power.
